W3LL PEOPLE BIO BRONZER REVIEW!

Let me first start off by stating that I have a bronzer addiction, BIG time! In my eyes bronzers are huge multi-taskers and bring a necessary warmth to the face no matter what time of the year it is. As you guys get to know me you will find out that my daily makeup routine consists of a bronzer, highlighter, black eyeliner, mascara and a nude lip! I almost always use my bronzer as my eyeshadow in my crease, i love a warm monochromatic look!! I recently ordered the W3ll People Bio Bronzer (formerly known as Hedonist bronzer) in hopes of bringing me out of my bronzer rut, and boy has this done the trick! W3ll People describes this as ,” a truly natural sun-kissed color. That’s healthy inside and out. It warms the complexion, corrects excess redness and creates added dimension.”

I have been wearing this bronzer for about 3 weeks now and it really is the perfect bronzer! It blends seamlessly into my skin and has the ever so slightest bit of finely milled golden sparkles to give a glow when you wear it. Now don’t fret when you hear the world sparkle, because it’s very understated and wearable, no glitter chunks here ladies! On my skin it has almost a terracotta-ish tone which I never thought would work for me, but it truly just looks like a natural tan so I believe this shade will work for anyone. You will not see any orange tones or muddyness coming from this bronzer, just a true natural tan finish with a slight golden sheen. I absolutely love, love this bronzer and would recommend it to anyone! Did I mention that I’m obsessed with their clean, all white packaging that states, “Hippie tested, diva approved.” Perfection! Retail: $23.00.  You can find this gem at http://www.w3llpeople.com

**W3ll People says this bronzer is FREE from:  Artificial preservatives, parabens, chemicals, dyes, fragrance, silicone, dimethicone, pthalates, sulphates, petroleum, talc, bismuth oxychloride, nanoparticles and bad mojo.** Winner, winner in my book!!

MY MUST-HAVE HIGHLIGHTERS!!

Ok so it took me having two kids, and lots of lost sleep to realize how amazing highlighters are and that they really are necessary in a makeup routine, well mine at least! Now when I made my transition into the green beauty world I have to say I was skeptical about how good a non-toxic highlighter could really be, boy was I in for a surprise!! For those of you that are new to highlighters or don’t know what to do with them don’t fear, you are not alone. Basically a highlighter “highlights” your face, usually used on high points of cheekbones, cupids bow, inner corners of eyes, bridge of nose, basically where ever you want to GLOW! They make you look healthy, awake, radiant and can double as an eyeshadow which is why they are a must-have for me right now. Below is a list of my absolute favorite non-toxic highlighters, enjoy! 🙂

Swatches left to right: KW Radiance, RMS, W3ll People, Alima “Chai”, Alima “Paris

RMS Living Luminizer: Raw.Dewy.Supermodel glow. Think of a Victoria’s Secret Supermodel basking in sun with mist of the waves hitting her face, a slightly sticky, wet glow- in a very good way! Retail: $38.00 (tip: samples sizes are offered for this!)

Alima Pure “Paris” Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadow: Perfect, multi-tasking, budget friendly, nude glow. It literally is the perfect beige shimmer, NO gold, NO pink, just beige perfection. Yes it’s technically eyeshadow but it really is so much more! Retail: $12.50 (a bargain for everything this does!) (tip: samples sizes are offered on website!)

Alima Pure “Chai” Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadow: This is going to do the exact same things “Paris” does but this gives the most gorgeous Rose Gold Glow!! My favorite thing to do with it on a night out is mix it with my bronzer and the result is a gorgeous pink golden sunset (does that make sense?!) Retail: $12.50 (tip: samples sizes are offered on website)

Kjaer Weis “Radiance”: I don’t even know where to begin with this but I will start by saying this is the most stunning makeup product I have ever owned, packaging and all! It is described in many ways but on me is a beautiful pearly beige, and gives off a true airbrushed look. I have literally had people stop and ask me if I airbrush my makeup everyday when I wear it! I treasure this so much and I have say is my favorite. Price tag is steep but it is completely worth it! Retail: $56.00 (tip: there is a refill system for this brand and retail is $32.00)

W3ll People Bio Brighter Stick: I recently received a sample of this and so glad I did. I think of a Moon Queen when i wear this. I know that sounds crazy but it leaves you with this striking glow that really accentuates your features! I will be buying the full size, and I like that it comes in a stick form, very convenient!! Retail: $34.50 (tip: W3ll people offers samples on their website!)

WELCOME FREE BEAUTIES!!!

I am sooo excited to finally share my blog with you all! I have put my heart and soul into this and am so looking forward to building connections and frienships within this amazing industry, I have already met some amazing people on Instagram! A quick background on me, I am a wife, mom of two, licensed esthetician and non toxic makeup artist. Click on “MY STORY” for a little more background on me and my life!

Last year my son, Landon, was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called OMS and he is my inspiration for starting Free Love Beauty. The sudden illness of my son has made me determined to create the most non toxic lifestyle as possible. I am learning so much about the “green” world and am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and learning more from others in this beautiful and positive industry. On that note I just want to take a moment to remind everyone that this blog is a positive space and I want everyone to uplift, empower and share their knowledge with eachother! Please no negativity here!

My goal as a licensed esthetician is to address questions and concerns about individual skin types, give in depth product reviews and show that non toxic and organic beauty can be just as effective (if not more effective) then mainstream products ridden with chemicals!! I will also throw in some lifestyle and nutrition, and some slices of my son’s journey with OMS to help raise awareness about this rare neurological disorder.  Now, lets begin…..to free, love and nourish your skin!! Nice to meet you FREE BEAUTIES!!!!
