So over the past couple of months I have gotten a ton of emails with questions from readers inquiring about my favorite face oils/serums that will clear up skin woes and bring back the glow. This is by FAR the most common question I get as an esthetician, everyone wants that magical potion that will do it all. So I thought I would do a quick little rundown of my top, absolute go-to, nontoxic skin clearing products that have done some serious damage control on my skin, and the skin types I think they may work the best for! When I go through my emails the underlying trend I notice is that many are still wary or undecided when choosing a nontoxic skincare product and I totally get it. I mean, before embarking on my green beauty journey the only products I thought would clear my skin were one’s filled with chemicals because what other options did I have?! Well there are some absolutely amazing nontoxic options out there now and it makes my heart happy to be able to help clear up skin woes and steer your skin in the cleanest and greenest direction!!

Kypris Clearing Serum: This gem was the first EVER nontoxic skincare product I tried and my love for it was immediate. My skin at the time was in desperate need of something to bring it back to life. My skin was congested, dull and the most broken out it had been since I was pregnant! I started to panic because nothing was working, until I did some major research and came across some stellar reviews of this baby, but Kypris was relatively up and coming at that time so I was skeptical. Nevertheless I was desperate so I immediately ordered it and the results were so fast I was crying happy tears within the first few days (no joke!). What I love and appreciate about Kypris is that they use 30 active natural ingredients with quite different ingredients you don’t commonly hear of such as chaparral which is a desert shrub that is commonly used a an herbal aid and lilac leaf stem cells which benefit break out prone skin or skin recovering from break outs. This serum is the real deal; it is crafted (literally a work of art) to tame inflammation, aid healing and balance even the most stubborn skin. If you have acne prone, aging/acne prone, combination and sensitive skin this serum is for you. The milky texture is light and fresh on the skin and gentle enough to use twice a day, which is exactly what I did after cleansing and toning. It also wears well beneath makeup. Retail: $62

True Nature Botanicals Pacific Balancing Face Oil: I will keep this rather short since I have mentioned this little love a million trillion times over the past few months, but it is true perfection. An absolute nontoxic, acne fighting, luxurious little work of art. After I finished my bottle of Kypris this is what I moved onto because I like to try new things to review for you guys but also because I wanted something that was going to boost up the age fighting process as well. Not only is this face oil packed with luxurious  anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial oils to fight acne, but it also has potent marine antioxidants that replenish the top layers in aging skin! I mean, this baby was the answer to my prayers, a nontoxic acne product that also slows signs in aging?! Truthfully this product delivered on every level and left me with balance, hydrated, clear, plump and healthy skin. If you have acne prone, aging, and combination skin then this gem is for you. Retail: $110

Blissoma Smooth A + Correcting Serum: This serum was a pleasant surprise to me, I ordered it on a whim after I finished the bottle of my Pacific Balancing Oil. Like I mentioned before I’m always trying new products so I can give my readers options for their skin types, so as much as I love my pacific oil, I need to try new things to review for you guys! So, like I said this gem was a pleasant surprise and it’s claim to fame is to moisturize while combating acne with powerhouse ingredients such as rose, organic coriander, fennel and yarrow which cleanses and calms pores. This isn’t going to give you that crazy hydration that a face oil provides but if you are on a budget, and you want a nontoxic acne fighting serum this is a great option!! It truly has kept my skin clear and smooth and I will probably always keep this on hand since it’s so affordable!! This gem is ideal for those with super oily and acne prone skin types. Retail: $ 25.99

So I hope these options give you all some clarity on what can help clear your skin for your specific skin type. Also keep in mind to switch things up every few months, as your skin gets used to products and becomes somewhat immune after awhile. As always I have to remind you that drinking a ton of water, green tea, keeping towels and pillowcases clean, and washing your makeup off before bed also assists in keeping the skin super clear!! This post is quite new and not typical for me since I have never been too into hair, and since embarking on my quest for all nontoxic products I had yet to find quality shampoo and conditioner that I loved. But I was immediately intrigued when True Nature Botanicals sent me their newest creations, an ultra luxurious pair of nontoxic shampoo and conditioner. I was intrigued but also skeptical, I mean as much as I love nontoxic makeup, I found myself using my kids’ random clean and green shampoos and conditioners because I was just over spending serious cash on nontoxic hair products that wouldn’t lather at all, or were stuffed with secret synthetic ingredients. So I had to try them right away, and I was immediately shocked at how well the shampoo lathered, and the intoxicating citrusy floral scent was a pleasant surprise! True Nature Botanicals never ceases to amaze me though, and the thing I love and appreciate most about them is how high quality their ingredients are and how they strive for absolute premium perfection, and I’ll explain just how they did that with these products! The best part as always, their products have NO harsh surfactacts—Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), or Ammonium Laurel Sulfate (ALS). No synthetic fragrances. No toxins.

True Nature Botanicals Shampoo: This gem was made to cleanse, hydrate and strengthen your hair, and it truly does just that! The ingredients are absolute perfection; green tea oil which is rich in antioxidants, meadowfoam seed oil hydrates, aloe leaf powder balances and soothes, and cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine is a naturally derived mild surfactant from coconut which give the shampoo its luscious lather! It’s really challenging to create a nice lather in a shampoo naturally so I commend TN Botanicals for doing this and they really hit it out of the park on this ingredient combination!!It doesn’t take much to create a good lather which I appreciate, and the scent is their signature scent of citrus peel oils and flower extracts and it’s a perfectly fresh, citrusy delight. The scent sticks with me even after my hair has dried which is a HUGE plus for me!! Win, win!! This is a holy grail product for sure!! Retail: $30 for 8 oz.

Ingredients: Camellia sinensis (green tea)*, water, sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, camellia oleifera (seed) oil*, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder*, citric acid, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, TNB Signature ScentTM [citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) flower oil, viola odorata (sweet violet) flower/leaf extract, mimosa tenuiflora bark extract], phenethyl alcohol, ethylhexyglycerin *organic

True Nature Botanicals Conditioner: Made to nourish, moisturize and restore shine to your hair, this gem lives up to the hype because it’s made with luxurious premium oils and antioxidants! A good conditioner is imperative in my hair care routine because I have naturally super curly hair at my roots, and I am constantly dealing with tangles and frizz, so I need something that will contain the frizz but keep my hair healthy and moisturized!! This fits the bill for me, and a couple of pumps is enough for my medium length hair and after leaving it on for a couple of minutes my hair rinses silky smooth and I can actually run my fingers through!! I LOVE this conditioner, it really does tame my crazy frizz, my hair dries much smoother and I NEVER have any feeling of heaviness or weird residue like you get with some hair products. Also made with their beautiful signature scent, shea butter, aloe powder which is a natural humectant that traps in moisture, and green tea and macadamia seed oils. Another holy grail hair product for me!! Retail: $32 for 8 oz.

Ingredients: Camellia sinensis (green tea)*, cetearyl alcohol, water, TNB Signature ScentTM [citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) flower oil, viola odorata (sweet violet) flower/leaf extract, mimosa tenuiflora bark extract], cetrimonium chloride, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, camellia oleifera (seed) oil*, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, panthenol, gluconolactone, biotin, dimethyl sulfone, aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder*, tocopherol, rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract, salvia officinalis (sage) leaf extract, equisetum arvense extract, phenethyl alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, ascorbyl palmitate *organic

Good hair products can be really hard to find and to be honest I was starting to get fed up with what was on the market, until I tried this shampoo and conditioner. I don’t find the price tags to be too high for the high quality ingredients and sleek stainless steel packaging they come in!! I like to describe TN Botanicals’ products as simple luxury because they aren’t  stuffed with a bunch of yuck; their products offer simple, organic ingredients yet are exquisitely luxurious at the same time-VERY hard to pull off!! If you have any questions about these products or True Nature Botanicals, please contact me or email me, I always love spreading the word about such amazing product lines!!! Happy Thursday free birds!!

I am SO excited to finally share this review with you all!! I have been testing out a lot of skincare lately, which means it takes me awhile to get these reviews out because I like to test out products for at least three weeks at a time so I can give you a thorough and accurate review on how my skin reacts to them, so you can determine if they may work for you. Precious Skin Elixirs sent me some absolutely beautiful products to try and I was initially just blown away by the thought and care that goes into them. First and foremost the packaging is exquisite and they purposely use Miron violet glass to protect the high quality oils more effectively!! This method dates back to ancient Egypt where it was used for the same purpose, protecting scared oils, how cool is that?!? I was sent their Amethyst Calming Serum, the Rose Quartz Balancing Hydrsol, and the Sterling Honey Polish to try out and all I can say is Precious Skin Elixirs is going to take the green beauty world by storm because these products are the real deal!!

So what is Precious Skin Elixirs all about??

Amethyst Calming Serum: This serum was made to calm and balance your skin. Made with high quality oils of borage oil which contains the earth’s highest plant source of linolenic acid which stimulates rapid cell regeneration and red raspberry seed oil which provides an exceptional amount of antioxidants and protects the skin from environmental stress. My skin responded very well to this luxurious serum. I applied a few pumps of this serum after cleansing and spraying my rose quartz hydrosol in the evening and I woke up with hydrated, glowing and balanced skin. Since there is black cumin seed extract in this serum, I didn’t experience any breakouts since black cumin works wonders at keeping my skin clear-I love it! All of the oils used in this serum are organic and wildcrafted and it’s completely non-toxic! In my opinion, this serum is ideal for those with sensitive, acne-prone, or dull complexions. Retail: $80 for 1 oz.

Rose Quartz Balancing Hydrosol: I loooooove this gem, the gorgeous fresh rose scent alone is completely intoxicating and it’s hard not to overuse it!! Made to soothe and balance the skin, I found this hydrosol extremely effective at adding extra hydration to my skin before I even applied the calming serum. The two make a beautiful pair and I must say this is one of the most effective mist’s that I’ve ever used on my face. Retail: $60 for 3.7 oz.

Ingredients: *Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) hydrosol, *Rosa damascena (rose) hydrosol, *Citrus aurantium amara (neroli) hydrosol, *Melissa officinalis (lemon balm) hydrosol, *Helichrysum italicum (immortelle) hydrosol, *Daucus carota (carrot seed) hydrosol, Salix alba (white willow bark) extract. Argentum metallicum (colloidal silver).

Sterling Honey Polish: Made with raw honey, kaolin clay, and colloidal silver which has exceptional anti-microbial properties, this polish exfoliates the most delicate of skin and doubles as a face mask that draws out impurities. I used this polish both ways and found them both to be effective. If using as a mask leave on for 15-30 then rinse throughly with warm water. Retail: $90 for 3.7 oz.

Ingredients: **Dead sea mud, **raw honey, kaolin clay, **argan oil, *lemon balm hydrosol, white willow bark extract, colloidal silver, **frankincense essential oil, **may-chang esential oil, **jasmine essential oil, palmarosa essential oil *organic, **wild crafted
